Book Cover

I am thankful for this book in so many ways- sharing Lila's story with other parents, meeting Patti and forming a friendship, spreading love and awareness, and also for the ability to express my own sadness through a photograph... When Patti told me she was thinking of using a rocking chair on the cover, I knew exactly in my mind what she was thinking- how it must look when a child drops a well-loved stuffed animal and never comes back to pick it up.. It's sad, but beautiful all at the same time. Just like the stories of our lives- sometimes sad, but beautiful when we know the Hope of the Lord and the promise of Heaven.

Thank you.

Crysta: Candid Cutie

While editing these, I realized that Crysta looks just like one of those little Victorian era girls in the paintings you see. She has that perfect complexion and those adorable waves. She's a porcelain doll come to life! Smiling at mommy thru the window

Giving the camera a funny face.
